Sparnon Family Tree

The Sparnon family can be traced back to Cornwall, England, in the Middle Ages.

From mining copper at Wheal Sparnon, near Redruth, they migrated around the world, wherever mining work was to be found.

Every Sparnon (and name variants) in the world is probably descended from this one family.

If you are one of these descendants and have not already been contacted, please write to one of the researchers using the links below.

So far, over 400 family groups spanning 12 generations from PHILLIP SPARNON, born in Illogan, Cornwall in the 1630s, have been identified and recorded.

Research on the Sparnon family tree is being coordinated by Suzanne & Max Bailey with the help of Suezan James. and Ken Sparnon
